The Japanese-owned Toyo Seat Europe Kft., with a history spanning more than 75 years, specialises in the manufacture of car seat frames. Based in Százhalombatta, the company counts among its customers such well-known vehicle manufacturers as Toyota, Suzuki and Volkswagen.
Results
At Toyo Seat Europe Kft.'s plant, the heat generated by production processes and the dust produced by welding operations significantly impaired working conditions. During the summer months, temperatures rose above 30 °C and the air was contaminated. The company sought a sustainable, energy-saving cooling and ventilation solution that would not require the complete reconstruction of the hall — which is how it came to find Oxyma.
The HydroBank™–IntrCooll two-stage cooling, heating and ventilation system proved the optimal choice for this challenge. The technology has two key elements: thanks to the OxyVap evaporative cassettes and their effective water retention capacity, 95% of the cooling capacity is delivered through the natural evaporation of water; and cooling and ventilation are provided using 100% fresh air, supplied at an air change rate of eight to ten times per hour.
The result: the company achieved two objectives at once, optimising both the temperature and the air quality of its interior spaces while also significantly reducing its energy consumption.
